Property, Ownership, and Maintenance Information
We collect and use property-related information to deliver and improve our Services. This includes:

  • Maintenance and Service Records: Work orders, service dates, contractor business names, project types, and related property facts. These records are linked to the property address and may be viewable by future verified owners or occupants in anonymized form. Personal identifiers such as homeowner names or contact details are removed before display.

  • Public Record Data: Property information obtained from public governmental sources and licensed data partners (such as building permits, assessor data, tax assessments, sales history, and recorded mortgage or deed information). These data are factual and publicly available. We display only property-level details (for example, dates, amounts, lender or contractor names) and exclude personal identifiers such as owner names or mailing addresses from public view.

  • Verified Ownership Data: When you verify ownership of a property, Huxedo may display additional information derived from public records (for example, deed holder names, lender name, loan type, or title company) that pertains to you as the verified owner. These details are visible only within your secure account and are never made public.

5. Data Retention

We retain your Personal Information as long as necessary to operate our Services and fulfill the purposes described here.

6. How We Manage and Protect Your Data

Data Storage
Your personal information is stored on secure servers in the United States and may be processed by our service providers in other jurisdictions with adequate protections.

Data Portability
You can request a copy of your personal data in a portable format by contacting us.

Maintenance and Public Record Data
Huxedo compiles property data from public records, licensed partners, verified service providers, and homeowners. We display only factual, property-centric data and automatically remove personal identifiers before public display. Public-facing records may be labeled "Public Records" without naming specific data providers. Huxedo displays publicly available information solely for user convenience and does not claim ownership of or responsibility for the accuracy of third-party data.

Verified Ownership and Sensitive Data
When you verify ownership of a property, Huxedo cross-checks your information with public ownership data and confirms your identity using multifactor authentication.

After verification, you may access additional property information derived from public records, such as deed holder names, lender, or loan details, that pertain to your own property. These data are visible only to you.

If you claim a property you do not own, you may gain temporary access to another individual's public-record information. Doing so violates our Terms of Service and may result in account suspension, referral to authorities, or other action.

Maintenance Records Continuity
Maintenance records are managed by Huxedo to provide continuity of property care. Once anonymized, these records remain with the property and may be viewable by future verified owners or occupants.

Account Deletion
If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except for:

  • anonymized property records retained for historical accuracy,

  • information required for legal compliance, and

  • aggregated, non-identifiable analytics data.

Data Security

We use technical, administrative, and physical safeguards designed to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No system is entirely secure; if we learn of a breach that may affect you, we will notify you as required by law. If you discover a potential security vulnerability, please report it to help@huxedo.com. We review all reports and take appropriate action.

Global Privacy Controls

Where required by law, we honor browser- or device-based privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) for applicable opt-out requests.

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your Personal Information, including to:
